Stephen Ursprung is the dean of the School of the Arts and Joan Phelps Palladino School of Dance. Outside his work as an educator, Ursprung is a skilled arts administrator and serves on the staff of the American Dance Legacy Initiative (ADLI) and is a member of the Artistic Advisory Board at Green Street Studios in Cambridge, MA. He holds an M.F.A. in dance from Smith College and a B.A. in economics and Italian studies from Brown University.

Ali holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in Acting & Movement from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. She has taught, directed and performed at various Theaters and Universities throughout the country, some of favorites include, Arena Stage, Pioneer Theatre Company, Festival56, Virginia Repertory Company, Stagedoor Manor, The Walnut Hill School for the Arts, Virginia Repertory Company, Bay Colony Performing Arts Academy, Berea College, Westfield State University, Stonehill College and The University of North Dakota. Ali has also served as a preliminary judge for the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival: Region 5 and as the Vice-Chair of Respondents for Region 1. Ali has had the extreme pleasure of studying under Alexandra Beller & Anastasi Siotas at the Laban/Bartenieff Institute of Movement Studies in NY over the past ten years and with Intimacy Director's International. 

Timothy Ayres-Kerr is a tenor, voice teacher, composer, producer, researcher, amateur guitarist/Lutenist, and real-life Bard. As Assistant Professor of Music at Â鶹ÊÓƵ, he teaches voice & music theory, directs the vocal ensemble, and coordinates the applied music program. His students have gone on to work in regional musical theater, national tours, and Broadway. Tim performs in opera, oratorio, recitals, musical theater, early music, original compositions, and liturgical music as choirmaster at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation. Tim is critically acclaimed to have “…a tone that blended the force of operatic singing with the naturalism of musical theater,” and to have “…fully realized both aspects of the phrase ‘musical theater.” by the Boston Musical Intelligencer. His own opera ‘A Game of Werewolf’ has been performed in 4 states. A BM (Vocal performance) & MM (Vocal Pedagogy) from New England Conservatory, he was the Grand Prize Winner of the NEC low-latency project grant to create BardQuest—the interactive musical adventure. Guided by eclectic taste, Tim hopes to continue challenging established beliefs, singing old songs, and making things that you’ve never seen before. Jim Beauregard is an Associate Professor of Theatre and Dance at Â鶹ÊÓƵ. Jim has served on the Executive Board for the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival and has also served as the Artistic Director for The Medieval Manor Theatre in Boston, Ma. Jim is entering his 23rd year at Â鶹ÊÓƵ where he continues to create as a Director and choreographer, both on the boards and behind the scenes for Â鶹ÊÓƵ and theatres throughout the region.

Angela Brazil has been a member of Trinity Rep’s Resident Acting Company since 2000. Favorite roles include Becky Nurse in Sarah Ruhl's Becky Nurse of Salem, Sugar in tiny beautiful things, Scout Finch, To Kill a Mockingbird; Heidi Holland, The Heidi Chronicles; Elizabeth Proctor, The Crucible; Emilia, Othello; Mathilde, The Clean House. Rhode Island directing credits include Trinity Rep, Burbage Theatre, and The Wilbury Group. She has been a member of the Bread Loaf Acting Ensemble since 2006. Other theaters include Dallas Theater Center, Berkeley Rep, and The Long Wharf Theatre. She has an M.F.A. from the University of Iowa, and has been recognized as one of its notable alumni. She teaches a graduate course on using theater in the classroom at Middlebury College’s Bread Loaf School of English, and has also taught at Brown/ Trinity Rep (where she also served as Director of its MFA Programs in Acting and Directing), Clark University, URI, and The ArtsLiteracy Project. She has narrated numerous audiobooks. 

Anais Bustos is a proud Latina Equity Stage Manager. She has worked all over the country in California, Ohio, New York, and the New England area. Her passions are regional theatre, mentoring the next generation of theatre artists, and baking delicious cakes. 

Katie Croyle is a New York & Boston based actor and teacher. Selected acting credits include: The Geffen Playhouse, Williamstown Theater Festival, Gloucester Stage, Trinity Repertory Company, The Arden, EgoPo Classic Theater, Theater at Monmouth, Theater Workshop of Nantucket, White Box, On the Verge, Philly Shakes, New Paradise Laboratories. Katie has developed new plays in New York and regionally with Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, Concord Theatricals/Sam French, New Dramatists, The Tent, The McCarter, Williamstown, Conch Shell Productions, Rites & Reason Theater and Writing is Live at Brown. She is a co-founder of the devised dance-theater company, Ninth Planet, based in Philadelphia. As a teaching artist, Katie has taught acting, voice/dialect and audition technique at Williamstown, Ping Chong & Co, Bryn Mawr College and others. She holds an MFA in Acting from Brown/Trinity and a BA in Theatre & Russian studies from Bryn Mawr College. She is a proud member of Actors Equity.

Jeffrey Dilorio holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Music Performance and Philosophy from Providence College and a Master of Music degree in Performance with a focus in Jazz Guitar from the University of Rhode Island. During his time at Providence College, Jeffrey performed with the Pep Band, Jazz Band, Funk Ensemble, and Jazz Combo. He has studied guitar under Jay Azzolina, Lyle Brewer, David Riley, and Bruce Bartlett and taken lessons with Phil Sargent, Julian Lage, Adam Smirnoff. 

As a professional guitarist, Jeffrey has performed throughout New England with a variety of ensembles and artists, including groups led by Alex Lee-Clark, John Allmark, and Mark Burney, as well as The Mac Odom Band, The Phunky Autokratz, and Nightshift Entertainment. His playing draws from a wide range of influences, including jazz, blues, rock, and roots music, and he is passionate about helping students develop both their technical skills and individual musical voices. 

Jeffrey is a recipient of the Reverend Leo S. Cannon, O.P. Award for Excellent Musicianship and was a Judges’ Choice recipient at the Berklee High School Jazz Festival. He joined the Franklin School for the Performing Arts Music Faculty in 2019 and continues to perform, teach, and inspire students through a lifelong dedication to guitar and music education.

Amanda is a certified athletic trainer with over 15 years-experience working in the performing arts. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Northeastern University and her master’s degree in kinesiology with a focus in motor control from the University of Illinois Champaign – Urbana. She has worked with the performing art students at Â鶹ÊÓƵ since 2013 and has represented the college by presenting her work at both national and international conferences. In addition to her work at Â鶹ÊÓƵ, she has interned with the Radio City Rockettes athletic training staff, as well as worked with professional organizations such as Boston Ballet Summer Dance Program, NeuroTour, and the New England Patriot’s Cheerleaders. 

Linda’s love of sewing began in childhood and led her to pursue Fashion Design in college. After two years, she shifted her focus to Interior Design, earning a Bachelor of Science degree from Drexel University in Philadelphia. 

For 15 years, Linda worked with Space Data Group, The Kling Lindquist Partnership, and Spectrum Corporation, collaborating with architects and engineers to design buildings from the ground up. She specialized in space planning, discovering a passion for understanding how individual elements come together to create a cohesive whole. 

For Linda, interior design and costume design share a common principle: Every project is a puzzle. Whether planning a building or constructing a garment for a production, she enjoys understanding how the pieces fit together and bringing them to life. 

After stepping away from her design career to raise four children with her husband, Linda returned to her love of sewing in 2016 when she joined Â鶹ÊÓƵ as a Costume Technician. 

Today, she brings her experience and creative problem-solving skills to the Theatre and Dance program, whether organizing costume storage, improving the use of space, or altering and constructing garments to realize the designer’s vision. 

Linda considers it a joy and privilege to work alongside Dean’s students, sharing her love of sewing and design while encouraging their creativity and growth. She finds particular fulfillment in helping students discover how their individual contributions bring each production to life—one piece at a time. Through this creative process, she hopes to help students develop the problem-solving skills, patience, and confidence that will assist them in Dean’s stage productions and throughout their lives.

Colleen Fussell, MS, LAT, ATC enters her third academic year at Â鶹ÊÓƵ as an Athletic Trainer and eagerly returns to the Performing Arts Athletic Training Clinic. After serving as Dean's Interim Performing Arts Athletic Trainer in Spring 2023, she worked with Boston University's Lightweight Rowing program before spending the past two years providing care for Â鶹ÊÓƵ's NCAA Division III student-athletes. She delivers holistic, evidence-based care to performing arts students through collaborative partnerships with medical providers, faculty, and campus administrators. 

Colleen earned a Master of Science in Athletic Training from Ohio University and a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training with a minor in Applied Dance from the University of Tampa. Her unique background bridges sports medicine and the performing arts, and her published research has highlighted the need for specialized healthcare services for performing artists. Colleen not only nurtures a specialty in performing arts medicine, but is also deeply passionate about serving this unique and historically underserved population. 
Prior to returning to performing arts medicine, Colleen held leadership roles at PT Solutions Physical Therapy in Tampa, Florida, where she supervised a team of seven athletic trainers and spearheaded staff development, recruitment, and clinical documentation initiatives. She has also worked with Mass General Brigham, Premier Sports Medicine, and AdventHealth, providing medical coverage for high-profile youth and high school athletic events nationwide. 

Certified in dry needling, Graston Technique, and CPR/AED, Colleen holds active licensure in Massachusetts, Florida, and Vermont. She is an active member of NATA and PAATS and is recognized for her compassionate, patient-centered approach to care and commitment to clinical excellence.

Caitlin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing from the University of Arkansas and a Master of Arts in English, with a concentration in Composition and Rhetoric, from Rhode Island College. They are a published journalist and creative writer, with work spanning plays, creative nonfiction, poetry, short stories, and numerous bylines in magazines and journals. Beyond their writing, Caitlin has built a career supporting historians, genealogists, and arts organizations through their consulting business, Caiki Creative, which focuses on digital marketing, content strategy, and public relations. Their work has included producing and editing long-running podcasts, launching successful marketing campaigns, and helping authors and organizations expand their audiences. As an educator, Caitlin serves as adjunct faculty at Â鶹ÊÓƵ, where they teach courses in writing, rhetoric, and arts marketing. They are particularly passionate about helping students connect their writing and communication skills to professional and creative opportunities in the arts. Caitlin is also a committed traveler, having visited 41 states and six countries, and they bring this spirit of curiosity and cultural exploration into their teaching and consulting work. They define themself as an Oxford comma enthusiast and spend their free time immersed in words, media, and the company of their pug, Winston. They are currently based in Providence, Rhode Island.

Laine Johnson is a theater educator, director, actor, and teaching artist with more than twenty years of experience in education and professional theater. She holds a MM in Theater from the Boston Conservatory and a BA in Theater Studies from Emory University. 

Throughout her career, she has taught, directed, and performed with organizations including the American Repertory Theater (ART), the Boston Pops, the Alliance Theatre, the Sandra Feinstein-Gamm Theater, the Atlanta Lyric Theater, Highlands Playhouse, Beaver Country Day School, Greater Boston Stage Company, and Reagle Music Theatre. Most recently, she founded and developed the Dramatic Arts program for Winchester Public Schools, where she created a comprehensive curriculum centered on creativity, collaboration, and student voice. 

At Â鶹ÊÓƵ, Johnson teaches Theater Pedagogy and is passionate about preparing future theater educators to inspire curiosity, confidence, creativity, and a lifelong appreciation for the performing arts.

Eva Conley Kendrick is a Teaching Artist, Vocalist and Composer. Students of hers have performed on Broadway (Les Miserables, Tuck Everlasting, Matilda), and on National Broadway tours (Annie, The Sound of Music, White Christmas, Les Miserables, Beauty and the Beast, A Christmas Story). She currently has a student playing Young Cosette on the 2023 National Broadway tour of Les Miserables. Other student achievements include 1st and 2nd place at the National NATS Student Auditions in the Musical Theatre Division as well as many other regional and local voice competitions. Her students have participated in the Jimmy Awards, the American Songbook Academy, and regional theatre, including Papermill Playhouse, Goodspeed Opera, Ogunquit Playhouse, Wheelock Family Theatre, Umbrella Stage Company, North Shore Music Theatre and much more. As a composer, she has written musicals and operas, and her choral works have been performed in dozens of states across the country. In addition to teaching at Â鶹ÊÓƵ, Prof. Kendrick runs the Eva Kendrick Voice Studio and is Director of Music at First Parish Unitarian Universalist of Medfield. 

Tracy Lane is the Director of Performing Arts Operations for the Schools of Performing Arts. 

She received her BA in Theatre Education from Emerson College where she also trained in musical theatre, dance and voice. Tracy has been a teacher of English, musical theater, acting and dance as well as a performer, director, choreographer, costumer and producer.

Lindsay Caddle LaPointe is a dancer, teacher, choreographer, videographer and video editor.  She received her bachelor of arts degree in Dance/Performance from Roger Williams University and her master's degree in dance and technology from The Ohio State University’s department of dance. Currently, she is a dance company member in Public Displays of Motion with Peter DiMuro.

Mike Lounsbery holds an M.F.A from The University of Memphis and is also a proud graduate of Saint Michaels' College in Vermont. He has designed sets, lights and sound for a number of theaters in New England as well as in New York City. 

Max Mondi is a writer and teacher based in Boston. His play, MAYBE TOMORROW, recently had it’s Off-Broadway debut with the Abingdon Theatre Company. His other plays include NO ONE ASKED FOR THIS, HOUSE OF KAREN, and PERSONHOOD.  He has developed work with Orchard Project, HERE, The Tank (NYC), SoHo Playhouse, and Project Y Theatre.  Max holds an M.F.A. in Playwriting from Columbia University and a B.A. in Theatre History/Criticism from the University of Vermont. 

Stephanie Morey-Barry is a voice teacher, theatre educator, and director with more than 17 years of experience working with singers and young artists. She is the owner of SMB Lessons, a private voice studio in North Reading, Massachusetts, where she works with singers in musical theatre, contemporary, and classical styles.

Her students have pursued BFA Musical Theatre and Vocal Performance degrees at institutions including Boston Conservatory at Berklee, Manhattan School of Music, Emerson, Shenandoah, and Marymount Manhattan College, and beyond. 

Stephanie is the co-founder and Artistic Director of The Misfit Artist Company, a community-focused theatre organization serving young artists through musical theatre, Shakespeare, drama, and performance training. In addition to her work at Â鶹ÊÓƵ, she serves on the adjunct voice faculty at Walnut Hill School for the Arts and as Student Auditions Co-Chair for NATS Boston. 

Her continued training in vocal pedagogy includes Estill Voice Training Level 1, the New York Vocal Coaching Voice Teacher Training Program, and the Vocal Pedagogy Professional Workshop at Boston Conservatory at Berklee. 

Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Salem State University, where she studied early childhood education and music; a Master of Arts in Worship Studies from Liberty University, with concentrations in Music & Worship and Leadership; and a Master of Education from Concordia University Nebraska, with a focus in Community Engagement.

Luke Morrison is a visual artist and educator living and working in Providence, RI. His paintings, drawings and collages construct ambiguous scenes where simplified forms blur the boundary between observed and imagined interactions. 

Morrison’s work has been presented in a solo exhibition at Ceravento Art Area in Pescara, Italy (2025). His work was featured in a solo presentation, Prelude Vol. 5, at Swivel Gallery in Brooklyn, NY (2024), and in a solo exhibition at Dryden Gallery, RI (2021). He has also participated in group exhibitions at Utopia, Kingston (2026); Pulp, Holyoke (2024); Hexum Gallery, Montpelier (2024); Good Naked Gallery, New York (2023); and Morgan Lehman Gallery, New York (2023), among others. His work has been featured in ArtMaze Magazine (2021). 

Morrison holds an MFA in Painting from Boston University (2023) and a BA in Drama from Vassar College (2018). He currently teaches as an adjunct faculty member at Massachusetts College of Art & Design, the Community College of Rhode Island and Â鶹ÊÓƵ.

Anissa Perona (she/her/hers) is an educator, singer, and actor based out of Boston, MA. She is a voice faculty member of Â鶹ÊÓƵ and the Franklin School for the Performing Arts in Franklin, MA, the North End Music and Performing Arts Center in Boston, and she maintains a private studio. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance/Musical Theatre from New York University’s Steinhardt School and a Master of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre Vocal Pedagogy from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee. She has presented her independent research on the relationship between treble voice classification and self-esteem at national and international conferences hosted by The Voice Foundation and the Pan-American Vocology Association (PAVA). She is also a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS). As a performer, she has sung at several concert venues around New York City, including Feinstein’s/54 Below and the Green Room 42. She has also performed locally at the Franklin Performing Arts Center in their productions of School of Rock, The Producers, and Little Women; and has recently narrated two audiobooks on Audible.

Anna Proulx has been working on the Front of House team at Â鶹ÊÓƵ since she was a student. She graduated from Â鶹ÊÓƵ in 2021 with a bachelor's degree in business administration, and arts & entertainment management. When she is not supporting audiences and interns for Â鶹ÊÓƵ Main Stage productions, she can be found at the Hopkinton Center for the Arts, where she is the Front Office Administrator & Volunteer Coordinator.

Mike Sartini is an adjunct instructor and percussion accompanist for tap and modern classes for School of Dance. He teaches percussion lessons. He also serves as the music contractor for musicals in the School of the Arts.

Chris Stahl is a professional actor and educator whose work spans classical and contemporary theatre, film, and television. They have performed extensively in New York and at leading regional theatres across the country, including Lincoln Center, Actors Theatre of Louisville, Williamstown Theatre Festival, The Flea, Theatre for a New Audience, and Trinity Repertory Company. They have been honored with awards and grants for their work, including from the National Endowment for the Arts. On screen, Stahl’s film and television credits include The Invisible Girl (Cannes Film Festival recognition), as well as upcoming projects The Drama (A24) and The Provider (Beverly Hills Film Festival recognition - Outstanding Feature), and numerous commercials.
A proud member of Actors’ Equity Association and SAG-AFTRA, they also hold an MFA in Acting from Brown University/Trinity Repertory Company. Their teaching emphasizes truthful listening, professional preparedness, and the integration of classical training with contemporary storytelling. They are passionate about helping students develop artistic rigor and sustainable practices for careers in performance, both for the stage and the screen.

Dustin earned his BFA in Costume Design and Costume Construction from The Sargent Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Webster University in St. Louis , MO. Before coming to Dean, he served as a Costume Technician and Wardrobe Supervisor for Trinity Repertory Company in Providence, RI. His work has been featured on stages at Trinity Rep, The Wilbury Theatre Group, The Texas Shakespeare Festival, and The Rep St. Louis. He works closely with Rhode Island Latino Arts' theatre program Teatro en El Verano; A touring summer theatre that brings Spanish/English bilingual theatre to local parks around Rhode Island free of charge. In his time at "RILA" he has served as costume designer, playwright, and production manager. Dustin is a fierce advocate for body inclusion and understanding in costuming and in the arts as a whole. You're not just wearing clothes; you're wearing your story.  

Alexander Voss received their Bachelors in Voice Performance from Peabody Conservatory in 2022, and graduated with their Masters from Boston Conservatory at Berklee in 2024 with an M. M. in voice pedagogy. With the rigorous training and thorough education Alex received from their teachers, Alex is educated in and ready to teach a variety of vocal styles and genres.

Alex is an experienced performer of the classical music genre, and cross-trained into musical theatre and contemporary singing techniques in their graduate studies. Alex believes in learning the instrument of the voice completely, making sure their students are educated in music theory and musicianship skills. Alex creates a space for students to learn and challenge themselves in an environment that is encouraging, safe, and urges the student to work outside of their comfort zone when they are ready.
